Welcome to the SBA!

The Student Bar Association (SBA) is the student government and umbrella organization for all student activity organizations at William & Mary School of Law. Members of the SBA act as liaisons between students, faculty, and administration. Please contact current SBA President Zack DeMeola at zjdemeola@wm.edu with any questions!

Scavenger Hunt!

The SBA website is continually being updated and improved. To get everyone exploring, the SBA is holding bi-weekly drawings for gift certificates to area businesses. To enter the drawing, simply answer this week’s scavenger hunt question by finding the answer somewhere on the SBA website.

This week’s question: When applying for funding to subsidize an unexpected student organization event or event that was not included in the group’s initial budget request, what may these special funds be used to purchase?

Gift Certificates will include Paul’s, Starbucks, Green Leafe, and Target.

Upcoming Annual Events: Barrister’s Ball

This year, Barrister’s Ball will be held March 20th. Barrister’s Ball is the law school’s annual formal dance – a chance to get dressed up and have a good time at one of Williamsburg’s finer locations. More details to follow!

Do One Thing for Sustainability

The W&M Sustainability Committee is initiating a campus-wide project this spring, called the “Do One Thing for Sustainability” (“DOT”) Campaign.

The campaign will invite all members of the university community to make small, public commitments to more sustainable choices (“DOTs”), in a manner that educates everyone about our various opportunities to live and work more sustainably. Participants pledge their “DOTs” individually and/or as members of a class, club, or team, either by posting them to the W&M DOT Facebook site, or hand-writing them for inclusion in a large installation that the Art Department is creating for display in a central campus location.
